Step 1: Bluetooth Pair to your Android Phone a. Turn on the Droidalyzer device b. From your Android phone, select the menu path: Settings --> Wireless & networks --> Bluetooth Settings --> Scan for devices. Also ensure Bluetooth is turned on. c. Look for a device that starts with "IOIO" and then pair using the code: 4545
Step 2: Find the app on Google Play by searching "Droidalyzer" or scan this QR code from your phone
Step 3: Run the app. Wait until the beer icon turns yellow before testing. When the Droidalylzer is cold (meaning it hasn't been used in over 4 hours), the alcohol sensor will take a little over a minute to warm up. After that, it will take between 10-15 seconds to warm up in between drinks.
Note: Using the Droidalyzer in areas where large amounts of alcohol are being consumed can throw off the alcohol sensor. If you find the Droidalyzer is taking over a minute to warm up each time (after the intial warm-up), this is the case and you'll get better results by going outdoors.
Step 4: Tap the beer icon and then just lightly breathe on the alcohol sensor as if saying "ahhhhhhhhh". You'll get better results by lightly breathing as opposed to blowing into the alcohol sensor.
Tap the Character icon in the lower left to change various settings like the character voice, pre-stored designated driver and taxi numbers, facebook and twitter settings...
Charge the Droidalyzer using any USB charger. The LED inside the case will turn green when fully charged.
The Droidalyzer is a novelty device for entertainment purposes only and is not a professional Breathalyzer.
